Lakeland Estates is a private gated community six miles south of Blair, Nebraska, off Highway 133, Blair High Road. The community was developed in 1970 by the Lakeland Development Company and, to date, has grown to approximately 300 homes. Lakeland Estates is one of only a few private communities within the state of Nebraska with a gated front entrance that protects access to the heart of Lakeland: Lake Arrowhead.
